 Domaine de Picardon
Classification : "Gourmet / Other aperitifs"
Appellation : "Bas Armagnac"
Vintage : "1988"
Our production is harvested, vinified, distilled and aged in oak casks with every single stage taking place on our Domaine de Picardon.
Armagnac, the oldest French wine based eau-de-vie, is the result of a majestic alchemy: the vine, introduced by the Romans, the Alembic still, invented by the Arabs, and the oak barrels, originally manufactured by the Gauls.
The distilling transforms the wine into a sumptuous eaux-de-vie that is then aged for many years in oak casks. Such maturation is essential for a high-quality Armagnac to be achieved, singularly characterized by a strong, soft and flavorful mixture.
Introducing you to the savors and richness of its original Terroir, this Armagnac subtleness and character will be best delivered at the end of a great meal, whether following filets mignon, duck’s steaklet, white meats or cottage cheese.
This is a richly aromatic, velvety brandy that will provide you one of your finest alcoholic experiences in life.
Here starts your wonderful discovery of the Armagnac’s world.
